After all of the walls and floors have been given a total makeover, take a good look at the lampshades that are scattered around your home. Have the previously snow white ones now taken on a very unbecoming shade of tan? Are they cracked or just plain old? You will probably be totally amazed by the huge difference that merely replacing these worn out lamp coverings will create. The entire room will be lighter and brighter.

Now if you should decide to undertake all of these costs efficient makeovers, in a very short period of time, the appearance of your home will have undergone a completely new and beautiful transformation. All of your friends and occasional visitors will, with a shadow of a doubt, find it hard to believe that you actually did it all by yourself.
